A Day of Prayer and Fasting

Greetings praying friends,

Africa Inland Mission is calling for a day of prayer and fasting for two countries in which AIM missionaries work and live, South Sudan and the Central African Republic.  Both of these countries are experiencing unprecedented violence, particularly in the CAR.  Would you be willing to spend a half hour today in prayer for these two countries?

Here’s some information about these countries from the news:

• CAR — CNN — Nearly a million flee violence in Central African Republic
• South Sudan — BBC — South Sudan in ‘wildly unpredictable’ crisis

Thanks for praying for these two countries today in a special way.  Pray that the church stands up and demands a halt to the violence.  Pray that Christians will show the love of Christ to those who need their assistance.
